Instant Pot – Got One? I love my Instant Pot. It has made my meal prep fast and easy. I have had mine for over 18 months now and I think I’m using it at least two times per week if not more. I can’t imagine my kitchen without it. It’s perfect for the person that is embracing cooking with real whole foods but doesn’t have the time or energy to spend hours in the kitchen.
Are you shopping at Costco? If not, it’s time to try them out. If you live within an hour of one, it’s well worth the drive. Whether you are a single shopper, a couple or feeding a large family, you will find great products for everyone that wants to eat well and save money. Here is the link to my personal Costco favorites. My focus is on whole foods and paleo so my favorites may be different than yours. I left some space open so that you can customize the list to your taste and what your local Costco carries.
** No mailing list sign up required for Costco Shopping List Sleep Deprivation is Unhealthy and Can Be Life Threatening Over Time A good night’s sleep is one of the best things you can do to improve your health, energy and brain function. Sleep is the time that our mind and body needs to heal and rejuvenate, and without enough sleep, our health suffers. That means we must find ways to get proper rest. Unfortunately, many people either don’t get enough sleep or can’t sleep. Today, one-third of all Americans get less than 6 hours a night. Per the National Sleep Foundation the average adult needs 8.25 hours of sleep per night. Reducing sleep by 1.5 hours a night reduces alertness by about one-third.
What Are Coconut Aminos? Coconut aminos are a soy-free and gluten-free delicious alternative to soy sauce or tamari. Made from just two ingredients, coconut tree sap, and salt. Coconut aminos are great for anyone that is that is avoiding soy or gluten for health reasons.
Coconut aminos are still dark in color and have a good balance of rich, sweet-savory flavor but not as salty as soy sauce or tamari. I use coconut aminos in place of soy sauce in stir-fries, salad dressings, marinates or for dipping foods like sushi. You can find coconut aminos in most grocery stores. Even Costco is carrying the Big Tree Farms brand. |
