If you struggle to find time to workout, consider downloading a high intensity interval training or bodyweight app to your phone that gives you a quick workout that you can do anywhere. You don’t even need any equipment, just your workout clothes and a pair of trainers. Some of my favorites are: 7 Minute Workout “Seven” (iOS, Android)
Johnson & Johnson 7 Minute (iOS, Android) Virtual Trainer Bodyweight (iOS, Android) Bodyweight Women's Home Fitness (Android) Popsugar Active – This is more than an app, it’s loaded with video workouts for all levels. (iOS, Android) All are great for beginners or veterans. You can start with the basic free option and add on from there with more advanced routines of varying duration and intensity. If you have more time you can always do the 7 minute workout 2 to 3 times. To learn more about high intensity interval training visit The New York Times blog (http://well.blogs.nytimes.com/2013/05/09/the-scientific-7-minute-workout/). This is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. Before beginning any exercise regimen discuss with your physician. |
